World is Yours Classic

Classic Overview

The WorldIsYours Classic is a showcase for student-athletes from middle school through college. The classic's purpose is to provide basketball fans with the opportunity to watch their favorite sportsmen perform in a high-level competitive game. Furthermore, the Classic allows younger athletes to demonstrate their ability while also giving collegiate athletes the opportunity to serve as role models for the younger competitors.World Is Yours Classic encourages merchants to offer food and other commodities as a method to market and expose their enterprises.

Next Steps

1. Submit Team Registration
Complete the registration form with team name, coach/manager contact info, and player list (maximum of 10 players).

2. Pay Registration Fee

Submit the required team fee of $100 to secure your spot. Registration is first come, first served and closes on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

3. Finalize Player Roster
Confirm all players are registered and eligible before the roster deadline. No late additions after May 30, 2026.

4. Waivers & Consent Forms

Ensure all players (and guardians, if required) complete and sign liability and medical waivers.

5. Receive Schedule & Event Details
Teams will receive game schedules, venue information, and check-in instructions prior to the event.

6. Check In on Game Day

Arrive early for team check-in, uniform distribution, and warm-ups.

7. Compete & Get Exposure
Play your guaranteed game, compete at a high level, and take advantage of exposure to college and high school coaches.

Gaurantees

Each player is guaranteed at least one full game and will receive a complete basketball uniform. This event provides a valuable opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills in a competitive environment while gaining exposure to college and high school coaches. It’s a chance to compete, develop, and be seen by the next level, all while representing your team in a professionally organized setting.

AWWAL RIED Scholarship

Another way to honor my dearest friend is with the Awwal Reid Scholarship.

This scholarship is for student-athletes who performed exceptionally well during their high school season. Players must have a 3.0 grade point average or above, be formally signed to a college of their choice, hold a basketball scholarship, and be a leader on and off the court.

We want the world to know that we are proud of our student athletes, so we reward them with scholarships.
